Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment.
• One-year supervisory experience.
• Ability to positively influence others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods, 7+ hours per day.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the salon manager with maintaining salon staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
• Help achieve sales goals and performance criteria by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff.
• Schedule and assign employees; monitor work results and ensure smooth operations.
• Control expenses by monitoring labor costs and cost of sales.
• Maintain salon cleanliness, organization, and customer readiness.
• Build rapport with customers to foster loyalty and long-term relationships.
• Create a positive, motivated team environment and address customer concerns promptly.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize net profits.
