Outcomes You’ll Deliver:

  • Class & Program Execution: Oversee the day-to-day delivery of fitness programming including: teaching group classes, delivering personal training sessions, and assisting with site, public, and tenant events. Ensure all sessions are safe, engaging, and aligned with member needs.
  • Facility Oversight & Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully functional fitness space. Ensure equipment is properly used and cared for, coordinate towel delivery, stock locker room consumables, and ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. Order necessary supplies, monitor inventory, and track expenses.
  • Leadership & Accountability: Take ownership of your day-to-day responsibilities, prioritize tasks as needed, and maintain professionalism, organization, and attention to detail. Partner closely with the tenant experience team to support and serve building tenants.

Ensure instructors have what they need to deliver a high-quality experience while maintaining consistency with programming standards and member expectations. Track contract instructors hours accurately for payroll.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience managing wellness or fitness center operations, preferably in a corporate or luxury environment.
  • Nationally recognized Personal Training certification
  • Proven experience owning operational standards, service delivery, and team performance in high-volume or high-touch environments.
  • Skilled in driving revenue and efficiency through utilization planning, staffing models, and resource management.
  • Effective escalation owner, resolving complex event issues quickly while protecting the guest experience.
  • Comfortable partnering cross-functionally with key stakeholders to deliver an exceptional experience.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using booking, scheduling, and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack, event platforms).
  • Adaptable and confident learning new systems for membership and program management.
Key Competencies:
  • Customer & Community Focus: You have a natural ability to "read the room" and anticipate needs before they are voiced. You create a welcoming, personalized environment where community members feel valued and genuinely want to spend their time.
  • Seamless Operational Execution: You are a master of the details. You organize your work with such clarity that the transition from a plan to a live experience is effortless. You prepare your team to deliver high-quality, mistake-free results, even in fast-paced environments.
  • Relationship Management: As a natural connector, you build trust through authentic presence and a relentless effort to follow-through. Whether you are coordinating with a member or a vendor, you communicate with the heart of a host and the reliability of a trusted partner.
  • Balanced "Craft" & Reality: You possess the entrepreneurial edge to balance high-energy creative programming with the realities of execution. You know how to assess what is realistically possible, ensuring projects align with your team's actual budget, logistics, and capacity, while still going above and beyond to wow your members.
