Job summary

Florida League of Cities, Inc. is seeking a collaborative Wellness Coordinator to develop and deliver integrated health and employee wellness programs for municipal staff and League employees.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, delivering education, analyzing participation data, and implementing creative wellness initiatives. Travel across Florida is required on a weekly basis, with frequent overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health education, public health, workplace wellness, or a closely related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in health promotion, workplace wellness, public health, employee well-being, or related field.
• Experience designing, implementing, promoting, or evaluating health and wellness programs.
• Knowledge of current and emerging wellness programs, vendors, tools, resources, and industry practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and organizations.
• Strong public speaking, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Florida weekly, including overnight travel.
• Bilingual English and Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration and development of integrated health promotion and workplace wellness programs.
• Partner with HR Wellness Champions and benefit teams to support programs.
• Assess organizational health and wellness education needs.
• Coordinate wellness initiatives, education programs, screenings, assessments, and interventions.
• Present engaging wellness education and conduct classes and presentations.
• Promote wellness programs and connect participants with services and resources.
• Analyze participation and wellness data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and prepare meaningful reports.
