Sunrise Senior Living, LLC in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Wellness Nurse (RN) to oversee resident health, strengthen clinical systems, and support medication safety and regulatory compliance across the community. You will conduct move-in, routine and change-of-condition assessments, and promote infection control.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, a nursing degree, and at least 1 year in senior care or clinical settings, with strong assessment, regulatory, and communication

Competenze

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• 1+ year experience in senior care or clinical setting.
• Strong assessment, regulatory, and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Conduct move-in, 3-day, semi-annual, and change-of-condition assessments.
• Perform monthly wellness visits and monitor health trends.
• Follow up on falls, incidents, and hospital returns.
• Transcribe physician orders and ensure accurate MAR/TAR documentation.
• Complete medication audits and oversee medication program compliance.
• Partner with families, physicians, and the Resident Care Director.
• Promote infection control and survey readiness.
• Provide clinical guidance and training to care staff.
