Sunrise Senior Living in Edison, NJ is seeking a Wellness Nurse RN to oversee resident health, strengthen clinical systems, and support medication safety and regulatory compliance across the community.

The role requires an active RN license, graduation from an approved nursing program, and 1+ year of experience in senior care or a clinical setting. You will provide clinical guidance to care staff, coordinate assessments, and promote infection control and survey readiness.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• 1+ year experience in senior care or clinical setting.
• Strong assessment, regulatory, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct move-in, 3-day, semi-annual, and change-of-condition assessments.
• Perform monthly wellness visits and monitor health trends.
• Follow up on falls, incidents, and hospital returns.
• Transcribe physician orders and ensure accurate MAR/TAR documentation.
• Complete medication audits and oversee medication program compliance.
• Partner with families, physicians, and the Resident Care Director.
• Promote infection control and survey readiness.
• Provide clinical guidance and training to care staff.
