Job summary

Chino Hills Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Nurse to join our Assisted Living community. You will provide nursing care to residents, administer medications, supervise nursing assistants, and monitor treatment responses to ensure the highest level of well-being for our seniors.

Ideal candidates hold an active LPN license in California, have at least one year of nursing experience in assisted living if possible, and are proficient with computers.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.
• One year of nursing experience, preferably in an assisted living environment.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs.
• Must enjoy working with the senior population.
• Must possess a valid First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Must be able to maintain mental alertness, attention, and concentration.
• Maintain resident, employee, and community confidentiality; abide HIPPA laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services to residents, promoting well-being as directed by management.
• Administer medication and treatments according to orders and state regulations.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants as needed.
• Monitor resident responses and identify adverse interactions; inform care coordinator.
• Update resident records and medical charts with nursing care details.
• Observe health status and address concerns within scope of practice.
• Notify leadership of significant changes to residents’ condition or reactions to medication.

We our looking for a Wellness Nurse to join our team!

Currently, we are looking to add a qualified Wellness Nurse to the awesome team we have in place at our Assisted Living community. We are seeking committed individuals that have a passion to care for seniors and are looking to grow within the healthcare field. All team members must adhere to a strict customer service philosophy by providing excellent customer service to our residents, their families, and fellow co-workers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing services to residents, while promoting the highest level of well-being, as directed by management
• Administer medication and treatments according to health care providers' orders and state regulations
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants as needed
• Monitor resident responses to treatment plans and identify adverse medication interactions, alerting the resident care coordinator of any issues
• Update resident records with information regarding nursing care, treatment plans, and observations
• Update medical charts.
• Observe residents' health status and take actions to address concerns within scope of
• practice.
• Observe, record, and notify Executive Director, Resident Services Director, physician,
• family, and pharmacist of significant changes to residents' condition and reactions to
• medication, treatments, and significant incidents

Requirements:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice
