Qualifications

• Must hold current LPN or RN license in good standing for the state of employment.
• Provide direct nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
• Thorough knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of medication regulation and law.
• Knowledge of supervision requirements for residents.
• EMR experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive, energetic attitude focused on resident well-being.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Criminal background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the wellness team and act in the absence of department heads.
• Be active on the floor, assist with call lights and resident needs.
• Document resident assessments and medical records accurately.
