Oakmont Senior Living in California is seeking a Wellness Nurse to coordinate resident care and medication management under physicians' supervision, ensuring residents stay as independent as possible. The role requires Sunday through Thursday, full-time coverage by a licensed nurse, seven days a week.

The position offers medical/dental/vision benefits, vacation, 401(k) with match, life insurance, and more. CA nursing license and RCFE experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid California LVN/RN license.
• Prefer 1 year RCFE experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic office equipment.
• Ability to interact with seniors and cognitively impaired individuals.
• Must pass a criminal background check and health screening including TB.
• Must obtain and maintain first aid and CPR certification.
• Vaccination and compliance with PPE may be required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate resident care and medication management under physician supervision.
• Communicate with physicians, discharge planners, nurses, and state agencies.
• Coordinate incidental medical, dental, vision, hearing, and podiatry care.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Support Medication Technicians in medication delivery.
• Assist with resident assessments as directed by the Health Services Director.
• Document resident charts per policy and state regulations.
• Coordinate prescription orders with doctors and pharmacy delivery.
