Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in Assisted Living or Long-Term Care.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.
  • Physical ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications safely and accurately.
  • Oversee medication aides and conduct monthly medication reconciliation and audits.
  • Provide direct care including ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.

Skills

Location: Village on the Park McKinney, an Assisted Living with Memory Care senior living community

Pay Rate: $30-$32/hour

Schedule: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Administer medications safely and accurately per physician orders and regulatory standards
  • Oversee medication aides and conduct monthly medication reconciliation and audits
  • Coordinate daily staff assignments to ensure consistent resident care
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and care teams regarding resident needs
  • Provide direct care including ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and incontinence support
  • Respond to medical and behavioral emergencies with sound clinical judgment
  • Complete clinical documentation including assessments, evaluations, and service plans
  • Document incidents and communicate promptly with leadership
  • Monitor care team documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Support orientation and ongoing training of care staff
  • Assist with scheduling in collaboration with leadership
  • Attend required in-services and continuing education
  • Maintain professional appearance and hygiene
  • Promote respectful and effective communication across teams and families
  • Perform other duties assigned to support resident care and operational excellence
Qualifications
  • Current and valid LVN/LPN license in the state of employment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification
