We are looking for someone like you:
- To be a Superior Supervisor: In the absence of department heads, this position is in charge of the building. Be active in the department, assisting and leading the Wellness team and other departments to ensure quick, reliable, and person-centered care.
- To be a Force on the Floor: A good leader sets a good example. Be available to help with call lights, assist requests, and demonstrate urgency to prioritize residents’ needs.
- To be a Diligent Documenter: Complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently, and file them correctly.
- To be a Compassionate Caregiver: Embody Arrow’s core values, ensuring each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and leaves the resident feeling safe and cared for.
What are we looking for?
- You must have a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within the state of employment.
- Thorough knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
- Comprehensive understanding of current medication regulations and laws.
- Knowledge of care and supervision requirements suitable for residents.
- Experience in hands-on care of memory-impaired residents is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive, energetic attitude and love for residents.
- This role requires active standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift/move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls.
- Criminal background clearance.
