Job summary

Pittsburgh Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) seeks an experienced LPN to join our outpatient opioid treatment program. You will provide nursing care, dispense medications, document patient status, and support treatment planning in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, coordinating with physicians and counselors, and ensuring compliant documentation. Grant-funded role with stable schedule and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN).
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment program, or addiction recovery field.
• Training or experience in outpatient treatment programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing care within nursing practice standards and physician orders.
• Assesses patient status and documents pertinent information.
• Notifies physician of significant changes in status or emergencies.
• Develops nursing treatment plans and initial admission plan.
• Coordinates care with behavioral health and primary medical providers to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Manages MARs, vitals, and incident reporting as required by regulations.
• May administer medications and transport medications between locations as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
