Ymca Of The Inland Northwest is seeking a Lifestyle Coach to co-facilitate group classes and conduct 1:1 coaching as part of the Pathways to Wellness program in Spokane, WA. The role requires certification/licensure in exercise or medical specialty and flexibility to work across multiple YMCA locations with virtual coaching via Zoom.

Ideal candidates will have experience in lifestyle/wellness coaching, Motivational Interviewing, and shared decision making in healthcare, and be prepared to train

Qualifications

• NCCA accredited Personal Training Certification or equivalent (e.g., Medical Exercise Specialist) or licensure in a medical specialty that includes regular exercise instruction.
• Background in whole-person lifestyle/wellness coaching, community health or public health with knowledge of stages of change, Motivational Interviewing and shared decision making in healthcare.
• Ability to work at more than one YMCA location and provide virtual coaching via Zoom.

Responsabilités

• Co-facilitate group classes (in-person and virtual) within Pathways to Wellness.
• Conduct 1:1 coaching appointments with program participants across 10-week sessions.
• Train in additional programs (LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, Pathways to Wellness, Y Weight Loss) as needed.
• Support program delivery and documentation to ensure quality service.
