Job summary

Excelcare Health Management in Dover, NJ seeks a reliable Dietary Aide to join our culinary team, supporting meal service, food preparation, and a clean, safe dining environment for residents.

As a Dietary Aide, you will assist with meal prep according to dietary guidelines, deliver trays, follow portion control and sanitation procedures, and collaborate with dietary and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or healthcare is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines
• Deliver trays to resident rooms and dining areas
• Follow portion control and sanitation procedures
• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and dishware
• Assist with food storage and inventory rotation
• Provide snacks and hydration as directed
• Support special dietary needs and resident preferences
• Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing staff
