Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is seeking a Health Services Office Coordinator to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Developmental Services programs in Cincinnati. The role blends Direct Support Professional, Medication Technician and Wellness Advocate duties to promote health, safety and quality of life.

This full-time position requires STNA/CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and willingness to pursue additional training in wellness advocacy.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification required or maintained.
• Behavior Support and Crisis Intervention training required by Ohio DDS/Board of Nursing.
• Ability to document and report clearly and timely.
• Assist participants with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a healthy and safe environment for participants.
• Administer medications per physician orders and state guidelines.
• Monitor health issues and report concerns to supervisor or nurse.
• Protect confidentiality of participant information.
• Collaborate with teams to support participant health needs.
• Coordinate off-site locations and transportation as needed.
