Canyon Ranch Austin is recruiting a professional cosmetologist to join the founding team for our upcoming Texas Hill Country wellness destination opening Fall 2026. You will provide expert hair services, educate guests on hair care, and support retail goals while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Completed professional cosmetologist education by an accredited school and continue education as required by the Cosmetology Board.
• Bring 2-3 years of hands-on experience or specialized training.
• Maintain a current and valid state Cosmetology license.
• Demonstrate professionalism, skill, and a deep commitment to healing and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional hair services while delivering exceptional guest service.
• Performs required hair services including haircuts, blowouts, updos, and wedding hair.
• Maintains current knowledge of hair techniques, styles, and beauty treatments.
• Educates guests on hair care needs and meets retail sales goals.
• Keeps workstation clean, stocked, and compliant with company and state standards.
• Communicates effectively with assistants and management regarding scheduling, paperwork, and guest safety.
