Qualifications

• This is a physical role requiring you to be on your feet most of the day.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 400 pounds.
• Occasional bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Able to work in high temperatures around heavy equipment.
• Basic reading, writing and math for chemicals and logging weight.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Sort laundry by colour, material, and level of soiling.
• Inspect laundry and linen for damage or stains and record exceptions.
• Operate washers and dryers according to capacity and manufacturer guidelines.
• Add correct chemicals in right quantities for each wash cycle.
• Fold and store clean linen using linen feeders and folders, and operate ironing machines.
