Job summary

YMCA of Greater Monmouth County is hiring a part-time Fitness Floor Associate in Red Bank, NJ. In this role, you will support the Healthy Living programs of the Y by fostering a safe and welcoming environment for all clients. Responsibilities include monitoring fitness activities, providing orientations, and maintaining equipment cleanliness.

Ideal candidates are 18 years or older with a high school education. Previous experience with exercise equipment is a plus. Certifications in First Aid and CPR/AED are required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Preferred age of 18 years or older.
• Previous experience using exercise equipment preferred.
• Must have First Aid and CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce facility guidelines.
• Provide fitness center orientations to members.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Wellness Center and equipment.

Skills

Ability to monitor and ensure safety during exercise
