Job summary

Edgewood Healthcare seeks a Wellness & Enrichment Assistant at Edgewood Helena to enhance the lives of residents through engaging activities and programs. You will plan, set up, and run on-site and off-site activities, coordinating supplies and ensuring safe participation for residents.

The role emphasizes compassion, ongoing learning, and teamwork; prior experience in activities is valued, with training provided and a background check/drug screen required.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities programming or recreation is preferred.
• Demonstrated passion for helping others in a caregiving setting.
• Willingness to train new staff and volunteers.
• Desire to continuously learn and improve skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning on-site and off-site life enrichment activities.
• Determine supply needs for activities and programs.
• Set up and run activities for residents.
• Encourage resident participation in programs.
• Provide resident supervision to ensure safety and well-being.
• Follow HIPAA and Edgewood policies and procedures.
