Job summary

The Neighborhood at Decatur is seeking an Activities Director (Program and Outreach Director) to join their team and report to the Executive Director. The role develops and leads a resident-centered activities and outreach program aligned with the Phoenix Senior Living philosophy to promote wellness in all dimensions of residents' lives.

Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring and training of the Assistant Program and Outreach Director, coordinating PSPs, and ensuring engagement in life

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Administration, Gerontology or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in senior living/activity & event planning.
• Must have demonstrated Leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the Personalized Service Plans (PSP).
• Refers to the Resident Profile and addendum for every new resident.
• Organizes and guides a variety of wellness-focused activities available throughout the day and evening.
• Maintains the PSL Activity & Program Guidebook, tracking resident participation daily.
• Leads recruitment, hiring and training of the Assistant Program and Outreach Director.
