Job summary
Vitality Living in Milton, GA seeks a Director of Wellness (RN/LPN) to lead our health and wellness program for a premier senior living community. You will supervise wellness staff, perform nursing assessments, develop care plans with physicians, and coordinate with home health and hospice teams to ensure resident well-being.
The ideal candidate holds an RN, LVN, or LPN license with at least 2 years as a director in assisted living or memory care, strong leadership, and excellent communication.
Qualifications
- A valid RN, LVN, or LPN license.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Director in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
- Proven leadership skills to build and retain teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Successful survey history.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise wellness staff including recruiting, hiring, evaluating, training, and counseling.
- Complete Nursing Assessments and other required resident evaluations.
- Oversee care plans, physician orders, and reviews with families.
- Monitor MAR/eMAR and track resident data timely and accurately.
- Coordinate services with home health, hospice, and other agencies.
- Occasionally fulfill charge nurse duties and collaborate with executives on move-ins.
