Job summary

Hampshire Regional YMCA is seeking a fitness professional to lead our Wellness department, overseeing personal training offerings, Wellness floor operations, and programming such as TRX and barbells. The role requires strong fitness experience and a passion for inclusive community engagement.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, a national PT certification, and a customer-service mindset to foster belonging across diverse populations within the Y.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; bachelor's in health/fitness preferred.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in fitness/ Wellness.
• Certified Personal Trainer from ACSM, NASM, NSCA, ACE, IFPA, AFAA or YMCA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Wellness department and oversee personal training offerings.
• Manage Wellness Floor operations, equipment and programming.
• Hire, supervise, schedule, coach, and evaluate staff.
• Engage with members daily to ensure positive experience.
• Develop and execute year-round Wellness programming.
