Position Summary

The Wellness Coordinator will operate in a virtual call center environment, handling inbound calls from behavioral health providers requesting prior authorizations. Responsibilities include data entry, clinical information management, and collaboration with clinical partners.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound calls from behavioral health providers
  • Gather detailed clinical information for authorization requests
  • Navigate multiple databases efficiently during calls
  • Collaborate with clinical partners across care levels
  • Educate providers on behavioral health benefits as needed
  • Maintain compliance with departmental metrics and quality standards
  • Manage sensitive member history with care
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • At least 2 years managing multiple tasks in a call environment
  • Experience in healthcare settings
  • Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office
  • Quiet home workspace and ability to secure PHI
  • Residency in Washington
  • Availability for shifts between 5am-5pm PST, Monday-Friday
Preferred
  • Call center experience
  • Managed care and casework experience
  • Experience with mental health, substance abuse, and low-income populations
  • Typing speed of 30-40+ WPM and adaptability to new technology

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Compensation

The hourly range is $16.88 to $33.22, based on experience, location, and qualifications. Benefits and incentives are included, subject to eligibility.
