Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Wellness Coordinator – LPN in Orlando to oversee resident services, medication administration, staff training, and daily operations under the Wellness Director. You will ensure compliant care and supervise the wellness team on site.

The role requires an active LPN license, 3+ years in assisted living or nursing homes, and strong organizational skills. On-call duties and occasional night shifts are part of the position.

Qualifications

• Must be a LPN in good standing and meet all State health requirements.
• Experience 3+ years in Assisted Living and/or Nursing Home.
• Knowledgeable of State and local rules, regulations, laws, and ordinances relating to licensed senior housing.
• Previous supervisory and/or management experience in a related healthcare setting.
• Must have exceptional organizational skills and ability to re-prioritize daily tasks to accommodate fluctuating needs of the resident and community.
• Must have strong documentation skills.
• Must have experience in training and staff development.
• Must have the ability to develop systems for monitoring resident health conditions and for ensuring efficient and safe delivery of resident care.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the person in charge of the Wellness Department in the absence of the Wellness Director.
• Accepts on call responsibility and must be willing to work the floor as needed including night shifts.
