Job summary

Asbury Chandler Estates in Northampton County, PA, is seeking a nursing-support leadership role to lead, train, and support a care team providing quality resident care.

The position emphasizes staff scheduling, performance feedback, medication distribution, and ensuring wellness oversight in accordance with Personal Care Home regulations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Med Tech or Personal Care home experience preferred.
• CNA preferred.
• Medical Assistant, Associate or similar degrees preferred.
• CPR certification or completion within 90 days of employment.
• Train the Trainer: at least 2 years as a Med Tech with certificate or license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and inspire the team to provide top-notch resident care.
• Develop staff schedules to ensure continuous coverage.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and facilitate training.
• Conduct proper medication distribution and med cart compliance.
• Oversee residents’ wellness and assist PCAs as needed.
• Ensure adherence to Personal Care Home regulations.
• Supervise and assign wellness associates; ensure tasks are followed.
• Assist in training new staff as needed.

• $46,800 - $47,840
• Monday- Friday 3pm-11pm OR 11pm-7am
• On-call 2 week rotation with the DON

Job Description

• Conduct proper medication distribution and ensure med cart compliance.
• Oversee the wellness of residents and assist PCAs as needed.
• Ensure adherence to the Personal Care Home regulations.
• Supervise and create assignments for wellness associates. Round to ensure assignments are being followed and completed.
• Assist in training new staff as needed.

• CPR certification or completion of the CPR course within 90 days of employment.
• Must be a Train the Trainer or willing to complete. The Train the Trainer must have at least 2 years of experience as a Med Tech with current certificate or license.
