The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a part-time fitness coach to join our team. This role focuses on engaging members, guiding safe workouts, and helping people of all abilities achieve healthier lifestyles.

You will assist on the fitness floor, teach equipment usage, and promote a friendly, inclusive atmosphere across the Y community. As part of a nonprofit organization, you will contribute to member experiences and programs while enjoying flexible scheduling and employee benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Fitness experience preferred.
• Enjoyment from working with people on a fitness floor.
• Excitement about helping members learn new equipment.
• Team player with a commanding, positive presence and passion for connecting with members and building relationships.

Aufgaben

• Engage members to foster a safe and rewarding fitness experience.
• Build strong relationships with members and guests to facilitate their fitness goals.
• Maintain a healthy, safe, and clean fitness floor.
• Provide a friendly and encouraging environment for members in the usage of fitness and wellness programs and services.
• Have an understanding and provide basic information to members on exercising and health and wellness.
