Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be actively attending one of the City Colleges of Chicago.
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 semester hours per credit or credit classes.
• Must pursue an approved educational credential, degree, or certificate.

Responsibilities

• Advise, guide, and serve as a role model for students transitioning to college life.
• Explain CCC system and point students to campus resources.
• Provide information on study techniques and organizational skills.
• Meet with mentee(s) twice per month to set and monitor goals.
• Advocate for mentees when needed and attend mentor trainings.
