Job summary

The Greenhouse at The American Club in Kohler, WI is seeking a part-time Barista to join our hospitality team. You will greet guests, take orders, and prepare a variety of coffee beverages and light foods.

Shifts are weekdays and weekends, with hours from early morning to early evening. Compensation ranges from $11.30 to $16.90 per hour plus tips, and applicants must be authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Weekend shifts required.
• Previous experience with coffee drinks and equipment preferred.
• Learn2Serve Certification preferred.
• Previous experience with some food preparation preferred.
• Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests, presents menu, and takes orders accurately.
• Upsells food and beverages, highlighting health benefits where applicable.
• Process payments and manage transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
• Operate café equipment (espresso machine, grinder, blenders, taps).
• Prepare beverages and food items to standard recipes.
• Stock inventory and manage par stock levels at the location.
