BlueStar Resort & Golf seeks a Wellness Attendant at Encanterra in Queen Creek to support the Wellness team and deliver courteous service to members and guests. You will assist with daily operations, equipment demonstrations, and front desk check-ins, while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

The role requires 1–3 years in customer service and wellness, a high school diploma, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One to three years of direct customer service and hospitality experience.
• One to three years of wellness-related work experience preferred.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledgeable in fitness club operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond to staff, guests, and community needs.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the BlueStar Experience for members and guests by modeling and maintaining the BlueStar 10 standards and facility policies.
• Operate as part of a team handling daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, inspections, and stocking.
• Replenish towels in Wellness areas during the shift and maintain cleanliness.
• Inspect, maintain, clean and organize wellness areas.
• Demonstrate the function of Wellness equipment and proper usage.
• Welcome and check-in members and guests at the front desk with exceptional service.
• Provide feedback to managers on customer satisfaction and concerns.
• Learn all Wellness services/products to promote them enthusiastically.

Position Overview

The Wellness Attendant assists the Wellness staff to execute courteous service to members in the Wellness area. This position reports to the Wellness Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the BlueStar Experience for members and guests by modeling and maintaining the standards set in the BlueStar 10 and adhering to BlueStar Resort & Golf (BSRG) and facility policies.
• Operate as part of a team handling daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, facility inspections and stocking, along with communicating facility maintenance needs.
• Replenishes supply of clean towels in Wellness areas throughout the shift.
• Inspects, maintains, cleans and organizes wellness areas.
• Demonstrates function of all Wellness equipment, proper use and techniques
• Welcome and provide a check-in for members and guests at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service and a desire to satisfy all customer inquiries and follow up.
• Provide feedback to managers about customer satisfaction and concerns to improve the overall operations.
• Develop in depth knowledge of all Wellness services and products, with the ability to promote them with enthusiasm to members and guests and support them in making choices for their wellbeing.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications / Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to respond to the needs and requests of staff members, guests, and the community association.
• Must demonstrate initiative—ability to think, work, and make independent decisions, based on sound judgment.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected.
• This position requires a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Work Environment

This position operates indoors and routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copy and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, see, speak clearly and understand the speech of another person, sit, stand and walk (occasionally for an extended period), use hands to fingers, handle or feel, bend, and reach with hands and arms.
