Job Summary:

Our successful candidate will provide screening and education services throughout our community, focusing on members of all ages. This position involves participation in events across our Geisinger footprint in Northeast and Northcentral Pennsylvania. Work hours may vary, including early mornings, occasional weekends, and evenings.

Job Duties:
  • Serve community or practice/facility-based population management initiatives, including on-site programs, screening services, fitness classes, evidence-based program facilitation, and program development for the wellness team and partners.
  • Develop, oversee, and implement health and wellness programs at the facility and community initiatives.
  • Design programs in collaboration with the facility, ensuring competencies, training, reporting, and documentation are met.
  • Support regional teams, operations, and new program design and implementation.
  • Create and utilize tools to evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs and manage outcomes.
  • Report participation and outcomes quarterly to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present educational information aligned with the wellness program's mission and objectives.
  • Provide on-site screening support and education as needed.
  • Assist with programs, biometric screenings, and phlebotomy support based on skill set and background.
  • Represent the facility at community and business events or coordinate such events.
  • Manage member communication and outreach within the wellness program.
  • Support regional teams and employers across the coverage area and explore strategic opportunities.
  • Stay updated on employee wellness research, standards, and new developments.
  • Research and develop new programs to meet population needs.
  • Support reporting, data management, and outcomes tracking.
  • Assist with policies related to wellness components.
  • Learn new software applications and maintain databases.
  • Coordinate record keeping and prepare reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Health Services, Marketing, IT, and Sales.
  • Manage calendars, promote activities with marketing, and coordinate onsite activities.
  • Participate in committees to provide wellness expertise.
  • Provide telephonic and onsite health coaching for lifestyle management programs as needed.

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. The role requires compliance with all organizational policies and procedures. The outlined responsibilities are typical but not exhaustive.
