Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is seeking a candidate to lead wellness and aquatic programs, ensuring safety and high-quality experiences for members and participants. You will supervise staff, recruit for healthy living and aquatics roles, and manage class schedules and registrations to support program growth.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, staff development, and active involvement in community outreach and fundraising efforts. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Education & Certifications include a Bachelor's degree or 3 years of related experience.
• Certifications: ASHI Basic Life Support (ASHI CPR Pro), First Aid, Lifeguard Certification and Swim Instructor Certification preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a member/customer service-related role is required.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster teamwork among staff (group exercise, wellness coaches, lifeguards, and swim instructors).
• Recruit, interview, and hire healthy living and aquatics staff with Executive Director approval.
• Maintain focus on member service as a priority for the healthy living and aquatic departments.
• Supervise, lead, and schedule classes and personal training sessions.
• Manage enrollment, registrations, marketing, and program evaluations; produce reports.
• Assist with member relations, inquiries, and program sign-ups; process financial assistance if needed.
