The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC Health Department) seeks a Wellness Advocate Supervisor to lead the Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Use Prevention, Care, and Treatment (BADUPCT). The role includes supervising Wellness Advocates, coordinating data-driven supervision, and ensuring quality in research and data entry.

You will collaborate with hospital leadership to expand Relay, develop research protocols, and participate in regular ED leadership calls to identify training

Qualifications

• Experience in public health and working across systems to advance a public health approach to alcohol and other drug use.
• Experience with programs serving people who use drugs, including harm reduction.
• Budget and/or contracts management experience.
• Program monitoring and evaluation experience.
• Ability to read, interpret and synthesize epidemiologic literature.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.

Responsabilités

• Provide research and data support for expanding Relay at new hospitals in collaboration with hospital leadership.
• Develop protocols, communications materials, and presentations.
• Supervise Wellness Advocates (full-time and part-time) and monitor program data for quality assurance.
