Job summary

Aegis Therapies in Belton, MO seeks a Director of Wellness and Activities to lead monthly calendars and engaging programs for residents in nursing facilities.

In this full-time role, you will supervise group activities, collaborate with the rehabilitation team, and market our wellness program across settings, delivering quality resident care and growth opportunities for the program and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, or similar preferred.
• Experience with senior populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the monthly calendar: 5-7 exercises or activities per day.
• Wellness and traditional activity/recreational programming responsibilities.
• Work closely with the Director of Rehabilitation.
• Lead Instructor.
• Market our program.

Education

Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist or similar area
