Job summary

Benedictine Living is seeking a Wellness Assistant to help enhance residents’ quality of life through social, spiritual, therapeutic, and wellness activities within the community. You will support the development of wellness programs and facilitate daily events to meet residents’ needs.

The role includes data collection to aid assessments and assisting in implementing the plan of care based on residents’ needs, with a robust benefits package including PTO, medical, dental, vision, and education

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in long term care is preferred.
• BLS Certification is preferred.
• First Aid Certification is preferred.
• If the position leads the program, qualifications must meet federal regulations.
• Qualifications per 483.15(f)(2) must be met by the activities director or qualified professional.

Responsibilities

• Assist in enhancing residents' quality of life through wellness activities and programs.
• Develop and facilitate the community's wellness programming and daily events.
• Collect data to support residents' assessments and care plans.
• Assist in implementing the plan of care based on residents' needs.
