Wellington Trust Company, NA, a federally chartered bank, offers complete investment management and asset allocation services for pension, endowment, foundation, and certain other qualified investors within the United States through bank-maintained funds. Wellington Management Funds Canada Trust offers trust funds to appropriately qualified institutional investors.As a member of the Wellington Trust team, the Co-op is an integral part of our business, administrative, and fund development efforts. The Co-op will have extensive exposure to all aspects of the investment management industry, including investment products and marketing, client service, legal and compliance, investment administration, tax services, and information systems.**Responsibilities*** Completing analytical projects related to the business, regulatory and investment oversight of our funds* Conducting financial and business analyses for the Board of Directors and other oversight committees* Interacting with and building relationships across all functions and levels of the organization* Supporting certain routine fund investor requests with reporting* Assisting with systems-related initiatives, including quality-assurance reviews and development of requirements for new management reporting tools* Leading ongoing ad hoc business-, product-, and finance-oriented projects**Qualifications**The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:* Excellent academic record, including relevant coursework in finance, economics, and/or management* Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team* Comfortable working in a deadline driven role, while achieving results with precision and efficiency* Comfortable working in a fast-paced organization with high professional standards* Prior work in a financial or other client-oriented team is preferred**Only Northeastern University students are eligible for this program.****Please note:** This co-op position entails cross-training to ensure optimal performance across functions.
