Job Description

Prep Cooks play a vital role in the kitchen by organizing and preparing ingredients to ensure a smooth operation during service. Responsibilities include chopping, breaking down, cutting, weighing, mixing, washing, storing, unloading, and setting up stations.

Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
  • Prepare menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Ensure product rotation and stock to par levels
  • Assist with prep work and station setup
  • Transport items and help unload deliveries
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas during and after shifts
  • Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Stand/walk 100% of shift; reach, bend, stoop as needed
  • Read and follow recipes, labels, and POS orders
  • Operate kitchen machinery safely
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavy loads
  • Work in high-temperature, damp environments
  • Assist with dishwashing and cleaning tasks
  • Complete food safety certification
