Job summary

The Café & Pool Attendant at Blackberry Farm, LLC provides 5-star service to guests at the Wellhouse cafe and pool. This role is front-line and focuses on beverage and food service, guest care, and maintaining a clean, inviting environment.

Weekend and night availability is required. The position involves lifting up to 35 lbs and working within a spa-like setting. Prior POS experience is a plus, and a high school diploma is required.

• High school diploma is required.
• Microsoft Office/Point of Sale experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly and attentive service at the juice bar and poolside for all guests.
• Prepare and serve non-alcoholic drinks (coffee, espresso, fresh juices, smoothies) and alcoholic drinks (wine by the glass, beer, pre-mixed cocktails).
• Sell premade/packaged food; restock premade foods and discard expired items.

The Café & Pool Attendant is responsible for providing 5-star service to our guests when they are visiting the Cafe and pool at the Wellhouse. This position is the front line impression of the food and beverage service that our guests will receive when visiting the Wellhouse.

Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests. Must have a positive attitude & willingness to perform to highest ability daily, have good organizational and disciplined skills, be guest focus orientated, and be passionate to be part of something great and making a difference. Offering exceptional guest service is top priority.

Uniform: spa coordinator pants, shirt, and shoes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Scheduled Hours: Varied accorning to occupancy weekends are required
• Provide a warm, friendly and attentive service both at the juice bar and poolside for all guests
• Preparation and Execution of the Following Non-Alcoholic Drinks:
  • Coffee
  • Espresso
  • Fresh Juices
  • Fresh Smoothies
  • Espresso Service
• Preparation and Sale of the Following Alcoholic Drinks:
  • Wines by the Glass
  • Beer
  • Pre Mixed Liquor Drinks (margarita, etc.)
• Sale of Premade/Packaged Food
• Restock or premade food and discard of expired premade foods
• Restock of all alcohol daily/weekly
• Charging of all alcohol/drinks, food as it is sold to guests
• Uniform: Changes Seasonally. HR will direct
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness in the juice bar
• Complete daily task list

Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.

Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.

Must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

High school diploma

Microsoft Office computer skills / Point of Sale experience a plus

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic math skills

REASONING ABILITY

Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift up to 35lbs
