Job summary

Cactus Companies is seeking a Shop Assembly Technician in Hobbs, NM to assemble and test Cactus or customer products. Day shift runs 7am–7pm with on-site work, safety protocols, and quality requirements guiding daily tasks.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, assembling parts, inspecting output, and maintaining equipment while adhering to PPE and safety standards. No supervisory duties are required for this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or 0–2 years related experience.
• Ability to read and understand detailed instruction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of Quality System.
• Must complete Short Service Employee (SSE) program for the position.
• Safety equipment and PPE awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits and comply with quality, safety, health and environmental policies.
• Inspect, operate and test completed products to verify functioning and conformance to requirements.
• Position and align components for assembly, manually or with hoists.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings or operation manuals.
• Maintain and lubricate parts or components.
