BFBS is seeking an experienced Radio Presenter-Producer for a 12-month role, broadcasting to British audiences. You'll present a daily music radio show while engaging with the military community. Ideal candidates will have live radio experience and a passion for storytelling.
BFBS, The Forces Station, wants to hear from you if you’re an experienced Radio Presenter-Producer who is ready for a new adventure, broadcasting to British audiences in the UK and overseas.
We currently have a number of 12-month vacancies for brilliant broadcasters who are excited to embrace our mission to entertain, inform, connect and champion serving British Forces personnel and their families.
In your year at BFBS, you’ll establish yourself as a Forces Broadcaster at one of our local radio stations around the UK (most likelyOxfordshire orEssex),before heading out to an overseas location for a detachment living and working in the military community.
You’ll present a Mon-Fri daily music radio show, broadcasting to people in the local military community, focused on serving personnel and their families. Your show will feature your own high-quality speech packages, telling stories and interviewing contributors from within your military community. You’ll balance this with fun interactive features of your own devising, alongside our mix of new music and classic hits.
