Placements24 is seeking a Commercial Cleaning Operations Manager to lead our client's operations in the Welkom, Free State, ZA region. You will oversee daily cleaning operations, supervise staff, and drive service quality across a portfolio of commercial sites.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting acumen, and a hands-on approach to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and client satisfaction. Residency in commuting distance to Welkom is preferred.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in the commercial cleaning or facilities management industry.
• Demonstrable experience in managing large teams and complex operational schedules.
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, equipment, chemicals, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Budget management and financial acumen.
• Proficiency in using operational management software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to problem-solve effectively and make sound decisions under pressure.
• A commitment to customer service and client relationship management.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Residency or willingness to relocate within commuting distance of Welkom, Free State, ZA .

Responsabilidades

• Manage and supervise all aspects of commercial cleaning operations within the assigned region.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of cleaning supervisors and staff to achieve performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize the use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections and client meetings to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring service excellence.
• Oversee the scheduling and deployment of cleaning teams to various client locations.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures across the operations team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the operations department.
