The position is 9 months, full-time, with duties including student advising, campus service, and program development at Gonzales, Reserve, Plaquemine, and St. Charles campuses. Strong welding credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Technical Diploma in Welding and three (3) years of experience in the field; OR at least five (5) years of welding and cutting experience.
• Proficient in multiple welding processes.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, and hands-on welding instruction.
• Prepare students for employment in welding, fabrication, construction, and manufacturing settings.
• Teach across RPCC campuses (Gonzales, Reserve, Plaquemine, St. Charles) in various formats.
• Serve on campus committees, advise students, and support workforce development initiatives.
• Maintain safe laboratory practices and welding equipment.
