Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in SMAW, GMAW/FCAW, and GTAW 6G pipe welds.

• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to be committed to teaching and learning.
• Proficiency in the use of standard office equipment and networked personal computers.
• Proficiency in or ability to become proficient in Office 365 applications.
• Clear and effective communication, both oral and written.
• Ability to deliver course content clearly to enhance student learning.

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned welding technology courses and labs per workload policy.
• Maintains written instructional standards and schedules office hours.
• Assists in curriculum development and updating course outlines and materials.
• Ensures compliance with welding codes and standards (AWS/ASME).
• Maintains student records and participates in program assessment and meetings.
• Supports industry partnerships and recruiting efforts.
