Job summary

Agiliti is seeking a Welding Technician I in Hays, Kansas to operate TIG and MIG welders and ensure weld quality in a safe environment. You will work with mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, reading blueprints and interpreting weld symbols to size fillets and plan welds.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, inspecting pieces for defects, complying with ISO and FDA regulations, and contributing to the team to help achieve company goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Detail oriented.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to become qualified to perform Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Stand for long periods (up to 80% of day).

Responsibilities

• Weld with TIG and MIG on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Read weld symbols on blueprints and interpret fillet sizes.
• Ensure quality of welds and inspect pieces for defects.
• Maintain a safe working environment and assist in team efforts.
