Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Lincoln, CA is hiring a Welder to join our Lincoln sawmill. Earn between $30 and $32 per hour, with opportunities to train and advance within the company. The successful candidate will weld to blueprints, support fabrication, and read drawings accurately while working overtime during peak production times.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable stick welding experience.
• Overhead and vertical welding skills preferred.
• Fabrication shop or industrial construction experience is a plus.
• Must pass a weld test.

Responsibilities

• Apply welding techniques to achieve visually and structurally sound welds.
• Provide welding and fabrication support for the manufacturing facility.
• Fabricate and machine parts for repairs and modifications.
• Read blueprints, plans, sketches, and verbal instructions accurately.
• Focus on current work while planning the next stages; overtime possible.
• Occasional heavy lifting and working in hot or cold environments.
