Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years welding experience.
• Able to read welding symbols and structural drawings.
• Able to pass a tape measure test.
• Able to pass FCAW thickness plate tests in various positions.
• Able to gouge joints to sound metal.

Responsibilities

• Receive and understand welding symbols and select proper material for fitting, painting, and shipping.
• Locate pieces approved by Quality Control for welding and gather necessary equipment.
• Clean welded pieces for the next phase of processing.
• Adhere to all safety and QA/QC programs and OSHA regulations.
• Work overtime as required and maintain punctual attendance.
• Perform non-essential functions as needed.
