Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Welding Technician for a company in Vance, AL. You will support welding operations by preparing materials, assisting welders, and performing general fabrication duties.

Responsibilities include assisting welders, handling hand and power tools, grinding, cutting, and operating oxy-fuel torches and plasma cutters to prepare materials and work areas for welding and fabrication.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in welding, fabrication, construction, or industrial labor preferred.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with grinding and cutting operations required.
• Torch and plasma cutter experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and follow basic instructions and safety procedures.

Welding Technician

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Welding Technician for a company based in Vance, AL. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide support for welding operations by preparing materials, assisting welders, and performing general fabrication duties.

Pay Rate $17.00 – $21.00 per hour (Based on experience and skill level)

Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 600 am to 230 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist welders and fabrication teams with daily production tasks.
• Use common hand tools, power tools, grinders, and cutting equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform cutting, grinding, cleaning, and preparation of metal materials
• Operate oxy-fuel torches and plasma cutters for metal cutting applications.
• Prepare materials and work areas for welding and fabrication process
