Bloom Energy in Newark, Delaware is seeking a Welding Team Lead to manage on-the-floor welding and assembly activities. You will provide hands-on TIG and pulse welding support, train welders, and maintain process flow while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is an on-site, in-office position requiring strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Yamazumi is a plus.

Formación

• 2-5 years TIG welding and pulse welding experience required.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Demonstrated leadership to motivate and lead teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiar with lean manufacturing terminology and principles.
• Experience creating standardized work instructions.
• Experience performing station audits.
• Experience creating Yamazumi and production line setup.
• Experience with process technician duties preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Flexible to work fluctuating schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain on-the-floor manufacturing activities safely and in accordance with EHS policies.
• Ensure quality requirements are met and adherence by all team members.
• Provide hands-on welding support to manufacturing and engineering projects.
• Address technical & welding questions and maintain process flow.
• Manage material movement data and cycles in Oracle/IOT.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory management.
• Document and sustain standardized work practices.
• Train and mentor welding team members on techniques and troubleshooting.
• Report attendance, quality, or performance issues to supervisor.
• Lead welding and assembly processes and communicate issues to leadership.
• Identify waste in the process and recommend cost-saving improvements.
• Assist in Yamazumi creation and production line setup.
• Oversee rework components for Unishell and Hotbox production.
