Job summary

Rite-Hite Company in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Welder II to lay out, fit, and weld metal components for door products and assemblies. You will interpret blueprints, select welding methods, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality parts.

Responsibilities include equipment setup for arc, MIG, and TIG welding, cutting and assembling parts, and maintaining safety and inventory. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with welding training.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, arc and spot welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience operating forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and work orders to plan welds.
• Set up equipment and select welding techniques.
• Cut, fit, bolt, clamp and tack-weld parts.
• Operate plasma cutter, torches, forklifts as needed.
• Troubleshoot welding issues across models.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and inventory.
