Job summary

Velocity Flow Technologies in Salina, KS is seeking a skilled welder to support TIG/MIG welding, reading blueprints, and operating robotic welders in a family‑owned, values‑driven environment.

You will contribute to additive manufacturing procedures, maintain safety and quality standards, and collaborate with teams to meet production goals. Strong reading and measurement skills and time management are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or vocational technical school.
• 1–2 years production shop experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineered drawings and tape measures.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• TIG welding skills are a plus.
• Ability to operate TIG/MIG welders and read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operate TIG/MIG Welder to industry standards.
• Read blueprints, shop drawings to assemble accurately within tolerance.
• Identify and program robotic welding parameters.
• Operate/observe robots and conduct quality checks for finish.
• Assist in developing new additive manufacturing procedures.
• Inspect materials for size, shape and consistency.
• Utilize metal shop tools and repair/repurpose parts as needed.
• Manage workflow to keep a clean, organized workplace.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet production orders on time.
• Comply with internal policies and industry regulations.
• Other tasks as assigned.
