Job summary

Miller Industries in Ooltewah, TN is seeking skilled welders to join our production team. The role focuses on MIG welding, reading AWS blueprints, and performing quality welds on heavy-duty towing equipment.

Qualifications

• 2G Weld Certified minimum.
• High school diploma or GED; or 2–4 years related experience or equivalent.
• Familiar with Miller manufacturing processes.
• Familiar with major components and systems on Miller products.
• Knowledge of Miller product line and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support Miller Industries mission and core values.
• Research and resolve customer complaints to retain satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and propose solutions for field issues.
• Coordinate with quality and engineering to resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively to resolve problems.
• Position and clamp parts on benches or fixtures.
• Inspect welds for bead size and quality.
• Repair damaged metal parts and fill defects.
• Layout, tack weld, and finish welds as required.
• Read AWS blueprints and follow weld procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Operate in a safe, PPE-compliant environment.
