Job summary

Valmont is seeking a Production Trainer 9 for OK Operations. This role trains new hires in welding, procedures, specifications, and drawings, and helps develop Welders, Fitters, and other production staff. The trainer coordinates, monitors, and records site training and may assist Safety and other managers.

Strong reading of welding symbols, specs, and drawings is required. Excellent communication and people skills are essential for effective classroom and shop instruction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years of welding experience.
• Five years in a production role at Valmont.

Responsibilities

• Develop and train new employees in welding, assembly, and reading drawings.
• Coordinate, monitor, and track site training.
• Assist safety and other managers in plant safety and quality assurance functions.
